Jeremy Huck, trumpet, loves to perform and teach. At an early age, he was asked to play trumpet in his church choir in Billings, MT. From there, he attended MSU-Billings, earning his BSED in Music Education, followed by his MMA in Directing from Southern Oregon University. Jeremy teaches music in Casper and performs with the Deer Creek Brass, Casper Municipal Band, and Casper Community Band (which he co-directs). Jeremy loves to dabble in a wide variety of musical styles on trumpet, flugelhorn, piccolo trumpet, and other related instruments.
Chris Ehrlich, trombone, born and raised in Casper, is a graduate of Natrona County High School, Casper College, and the University of Northern Colorado. After graduating with his Bachelor’s in Music Education, he became the band director at Kelly Walsh High School, where he served the students for 11 years. Chris is a founding member of the Deer Creek Brass Quintet and a founding co-director of the Casper Community Band. He routinely performs with the Casper Municipal Band, Dem Bones Trombone Quintet, as well as at several churches and ARTCORE functions around Casper.
Jeremy and Chris will be joined by the Deer Creek Brass Quintet. The DCB was formed in 2018, and consists of trumpeters Jeremy Huck and Cara Sommers, Mike Pryczynski on horn, Chris Ehrlich on trombone, and Jerry Delgado on tuba. The DCB performs a varied repertoire of music, with their forte being movie themes.
