ARTCORE (Arts Coordinating Representatives) was invented in 1978 with the purpose of providing opportunities for individual artists. There was no vision of the huge series of around 40 events that has evolved, but our championship of local and regional artists, is a strong part of our work. The first performance was of the winner of a radio script competition, and we continue with a rotation of New Music, One-Act Play, and Visual Arts Competitions.

ARTCORE presents music, dance, and theater presentations to enhance the vibrant Arts scene of the Casper area. Many styles of music and dance are incorporated in each season. With theater, we tend to present individual actors who can provide excellent concerts and also reach out to give students strong guidance. The community has a wealth of excellent theater with the local schools and companies, so traveling theatrical shows are not a good fit.

Education is incredibly important to the Board Members and Staff of ARTCORE. We ask many of our evening performers to also share their excellence to inspire young people during the day. We reach out to the public and private schools, as well as home school families, and, in non-COVID times, assisted living home residents.

Our fervent wish is for our audience members to experience entertaining and exciting live productions.
