From Wayne McIntire: Writing arrangements of the "Banner" for various vocal and instrumental groups has become a hobby, and now I have written a new choral arrangement of the "Star Spangled Banner" that will be discussed, and then performed by a small hand-picked chorus of family and friends.

About Dem Bones: One of life's greatest pleasures is making music with friends. For me, that's what Dem Bones is all about. This trombone ensemble appears on festive occasions at St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Casper.

Nathan Baker teaches low brass, music theory, and composition at Casper College.

Bob Meloy has been a musical partner for many years. A journeyman pipe fitter by trade, Bob helped build the Alaskan pipeline. He plays with various Big Band and Jazz ensembles in Colorado, and his musicianship and trombone chops never cease to amaze.

Gary Gasser is a retired music educator and is part of the trombone section of the Casper Municipal Band. Gary is also a frequent leader of European tours for young Wyoming musicians.

Chris Ehrlich has retired as band director at Kelly Walsh High School, his excellent bass trombone provides the harmonic foundation for our ensemble.

Wayne McIntire is the organizer and music arranger for Dem Bones. He was the founder and director of the Casper Civic Chorale and taught vocal music and jazz ensembles at Natrona County High School. Wayne was a member of Casper's infamous Salt Creek Jazz Band, and plays with the Casper Municipal Band where he also announces for their summer Concerts In the Park.

Refreshments will be sold only from 6:30-7:30 and at intermission.
